How do you tell a male T. Stigmurus?
I was wondering, if T. Stigmurus are parthenogenic and 9 out of 10 or 99 in a 100 are females how would you know if you had a male. I'm in the process of acquiring 2 females and I would like to increase the genetic variability by using a male to breed with them. Does anyone have a male or has anyone ever seen a male?
Thanks in advance!!!

I believe even in nature males hardly ever occur anymore. I dont know for sure. I do know in the hobby, 999 of 1000 are females (if not 100%).
Will look it up to tell the difference.
Tityus have quite a different look to females and males. Males tend to be more stretched out in this genus.
So far, getting a picture of a real T.s. male might prove hard
Chances to get them mated instead of reproducing parthenogenetically are very very little. Basically all you see are exact clones (fem-fem) instead of a fusion of genes as is done the normal way..
Get back with you on this soon.
