Those are some great picture Mr T.
I will add, these are if I'm not mistaking from june or july 2011. Awesome growth and very healthy looking.
Whats the feeding habit on them when they get to i4? They take on adult crickets?

Thanks Pluto. These were born on 8/24. And as for eating habits, I've been giving them a mix of inverts. Mostly crickets, but some grasshoppers and meal worms.

What size do they generally grab or do you give them? A varied diet is always better if you can provide it!
It is good to see them flourish like that.
Are you keeping the biggest one still moist? After instar 4 it doesnt really matter anymore.

Re: I'm new at this!
the 2 & 3i just pinhead crickets & small meal worms. the 4i adults crickets. I'm keep the tank between 60 & 80 % humidity. I try to keep it under 80 but it hits it now and again.

No pic's yet, but through a hole in a rock I have in my AA tank, I saw an exoskeleton with a scorpion next to it. It's the first one to molt to 5i. I'll see if I can get some pic's after I get off work today. WOW, so excited!!!

Christ! That my little babies?
How big are they now? Watch out now Mr T.
They're ready to bring the pain if something doesnt please them now!
If this is a male, the tail will really inflate next two moults. Females are about... yes about the same shape as the one you posted. But considerably larger.
Great to see the size difference.
Great pics, thanks for sharing.

They are about 3in now. These are from the first batch. I have 6 left out of the eight. 2 are still at 4i, but very close to molting.

Re: I'm new at this!
Hmm so they're getting some attitude now. Good for you! The trick was to heat them sufficiently. Some people around here had scorplings from the same nest and they never moulted due to too cold (26 centigrade) temps and too little moist.
I feel these need at least 30 centigrade to promote moulting and a nice little (partially) humid substrate from when they are very young. Miss this at the beginning and they will all slowly die off one by one.
Glad yours turned out ok!

Thanks Bro, but it hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be. It's been a long road and we still got a long way to go.

Re: I'm new at this!
These guys/gals are eating me out of house and home. I watched one female eat 3 medium size crickets in less than 24hrs. The other 2 eat 1 med cricket and 1 super worm each. They are eating good. I still have 2 in this group at 4i, but they have buried themselves, so I give them a week. I think they would have molted by now if I hadn't had to change their enclosure. I'm really excited about the 5i. It's nice to see all the hard work reach this point.
Thanks for all your input and support.
